Real Madrid make resolution relating to Aurelien Tchouameni’s future at membership amid Manchester United curiosity: Reports

Real Madrid reportedly have no interest in selling Aurelien Tchouameni amid interest from Manchester United. The Spanish side see him as a key part of the club’s plans for the future.

According to a report in FootMercato (via Metro), Tchouameni is set to be handed a new deal at Real Madrid. The Frenchman is a part of the ‘indispensable’ core Florentino Perez has built at the club and they do not want to sell him.

The Frenchman, who was signed from AS Monaco for €100 million, was linked with a move to Manchester United this summer. The Red Devils are keen to add a midfielder as Casemiro is set to leave, and Manuel Ugarte could also be leaving.

Tchouameni was the latest player linked with a switch to Old Trafford, as the Premier League side looked to take advantage of his contract situation. He has just two years left on his contract, and they hoped to lure him to England.

Rio Ferdinand spoke about the Frenchman earlier this month, admitting that Los Blancos midfielder would be a good signing for his former club.

“Tchouameni would be great but is he available? I don’t know if he’s available. His experience is huge. I think he speaks English as well, so that’s not an issue. I think he’s a fantastic footballer. I remember the game France-England in a tournament, I think it was Qatar.”

“He was majestic. He was strong. He was commanding. He’s played in huge games. He has the experience. So I wouldn’t worry about him, I’d be very happy to get him. Baleba has got huge potential but has had a bit of a dip this season from where he was the season before.”

Tchouameni has a contract with Real Madrid until 2028. He was linked with Chelsea and Liverpool before he moved to Santiago Bernabeu.

Rio Ferdinand wants Manchester United to sign PL star if Real Madrid midfielder stays

Rio Ferdinand has named Elliot Anderson as the midfielder Manchester United should sign if they do not get Tchouameni from Real Madrid. He added that the Nottingham Forest star has been brilliant and said:

“Anderson, I think would be a great signing. Again, Premier League proven, great energy, I think there can be huge improvements, his ceiling is quite high, I think there is more to come from him that you can get out of him at Man United. I think Michael Carrick would be a great tutor for him as well. It’s going to be difficult. Who is available – let’s go from there.”

Manchester United and Manchester City are battling to sign Anderson this summer.
