What can we expect from Apex Legends Season 29?
New Legend
The greatest addition that’s coming with Apex Legends Overclocked is the brand-new Legend, Axle. She is a fast-paced Skirmisher who can slide around the battlefield without any hindrance. Her kit is centered around her using the slide-mechanic, which has been provided with unique buffs in her case.
Furthermore, the character has a very unique ultimate ability that is capable of targeting enemy players and displacing them away from cover.
New Respawn mechanism
With the debut of the latest season of Apex Legends, we are going to see the introduction of a new respawn mechanism in the game. Players will now be able to respawn their teammates via their own deathbox.
It’s a new and alternate way of bringing back your fallen comrades into the action. Unlike the respawn beacon, which provides a quick respawn in-game, the process of deathbox respawn is slightly tedious and a lot noisier.
It’s a trade-off the players have to make if they’re choosing not to make the arduous journey to a respawn beacon in the game. That said, it will make for some interesting matches, and the late-game scene will definitely see some unique plays.

Legend buffs and nerfs
Moving forward, we are also expecting to see quite a few changes to different Legends in the game. This will ensure that players have a fresh new meta to explore once the new season drops.
As per the official blog, we are expecting to see unique buffs to both Conduit and Vantage, making them much more viable for competitive play. Both Legends have seen a significant fall in their pick rates in the past few months, and this step will ensure they get to enjoy the limelight for a while.
