How to farm Gold in Far Far West

Gold is an important resource in Far Far West, aiding you in progression by allowing you to upgrade your weapons to make them more reliable in battle. That said, getting Gold can be a little tough, as it is generally a special reward, like beating bosses or completing objectives.

This guide will show you the best farming method in Far Far West to get lots of Gold quickly. Here are the details.

Best gold farming technique in Far Far West

While there are several ways to get Gold, like the loot Coyote, they are generally inconsistent. The best way is to get a bunch of Gold at once, which is only feasible in the Canyon map. Simply put, you must complete the medallion challenge in the Canyon to gain access to tons of Gold as a reward.

You will need to find four medallions scattered around the map, which are:

• Hawkeye’s medallion
• Bobby’s medallion
• Sweaty’s medallion
• Sheriff’s medallion

Before starting the run, we recommend turning the difficulty down to Easy to make the hunt for these as hassle-free as possible. Also, check out our Far Far West medallion challenge guide to learn about the locations of each piece. Once obtained, they can be slotted into the cave wall.

This will open a secret area that has several Gold ore veins and an Elder Pickaxe to farm them. While you can lob explosives to make collecting Gold from veins easier, it is not suggested to do so, as you will get only half the amount of Gold mining would. Each run to this cave will net you 300 Gold, not counting the additional ones you will get upon beating the boss and extracting via train.

Simply repeat this map on Easy as many times as needed to collect the Gold desired. While this is not the fastest method to get Gold in Far Far West, it is the most consistent one. You can also team up with friends to make the medallion hunt easier, and since Gold drops are instanced for each player, everyone benefits.
