Cardi B raised plenty of eyebrows on Saturday when she reunited with Stefon Diggs for a Mother’s Day event. The rapper and the NFL star had reportedly broken up after Super Bowl 61, with Cardi adamant about seeing Diggs again.
Things changed a few months later, when Cardi made a public appearance with the wide receiver. The Diggs Deep Foundation hosted an event for the special day, which included the “I Like It” singer.
Thanks for the submission!
Photos showed the pair posing for photos together in front of a pink backdrop. They were smiling and embracing each other, causing plenty of confusion online.

A lot of fans went after Cardi, questioning what went wrong that she got back with Diggs.
“Accurate example of women WILLINGLY dating bad men. They are not VICTIMS 90 percent of the time they are in a toxic situation because THEY want to be there. Women are very very smart. Never forget that. They know who to say No to and they absolutely know who to say yes to,” one fan said.
“She forgave Offset 50 times and he’s not an NFL player. Stefon Diggs got 99 lives left,” another fan said.
“Again!? She went back? She needs help or we do bc ain’t no way you’re in the same toxic patterns girl,” another fan said.
The criticism continued, while some recalled that Cardi acted the same during her on-and-off relationship with Offset.
“Shell give him like 100 chances before giving up and he still won’t change. How many chances did she give OFFSET again?” one fan said.
“She just wanted the case to be finished before being seen with him again,” another fan said.
“The end will not be good, cardi you deserve better. Anyway it’s your life live it anyhow u like,” another fan said.
Stefon Diggs found not guilty of strangulation assault charges
On Tuesday, a Dedham, Massachusetts, jury shared its verdict on the Stefon Diggs case. His former personal chef, Jamila Adams, accused him of strangulation.
She made contradictory statements that might have led the jury to find Diggs not guilty.
The player will now focus on finding a new NFL team after the New England Patriots released him when they couldn’t agree on a contract restructuring.
