The Rajasthan Royals play twice in the next three games, making it almost imperative that we pile up on their players for this fixture. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s stellar opening partnerships paved the way for the Royals’ early success, and the duo would be keen to replicate that to help them return to winning ways. Given that they’re due some runs and come into this break fully refreshed, both southpaws are solid options to bring in.

Riyan Parag is expected to return to the RR playing XI for this match after recovering from a niggle. After a sub-par start to the season, Parag played a dazzling 50-ball 90 against DC in the reverse fixture. Given that he could also roll his arm over against the many left-handers in the DC batting lineup, he could be a potent differential pick for this match.

Jofra Archer’s fiery start to the season tapering has coincided with RR’s drop-off in form. In what is a must-win game, expect Archer to be back at his best against a brittle DC batting lineup. He is RR’s most potent wicket-taker, and someone capable of delivering plenty of points over their remaining fixtures.

KL Rahul is the only DC option we’re backing, considering that DC’s next outing is the final group-stage match against KKR, and the fact that they don’t have any other consistently reliable pick other than the wicket-keeper batter. Rahul has gone three matches without crossing the 30-run mark, a run that’s quite rare for a player of his quality. We expect him to get back to his run-scoring best in tonight’s fixture.
