BREAKING: IYO SKY Confirms She’s Married To Male WWE Star

IYO SKY has finally provided a confirmation on her relationship status. She took to social media to reveal that she’s married to a fellow WWE star.

The Genius of the Sky was rumored to be dating the latest WWE joinee, Evil/Naraku. However, the duo never officially confirmed their relationship status. The rumors have now been proven true as the duo announced their marriage on an episode of Jônetsu Tairiku, which was followed by a message from the former women’s champion:

“To everyone who always supports us warmly, this is a personal matter, but at this time, we would like to announce that WWE’s NARAKU (formerly EVIL) and IYO SKY (formerly Io Shirai) are husband and wife. We both began our paths in professional wrestling in Japan, each seeing different scenery and ‘skies’ along the way. From this early summer onward, we will now be challenging the same stage called WWE overseas — not only as companions, but also as comrades. We deeply feel the bond and joy in that.

From here on, as husband and wife, we will support each other in our daily lives. And as WWE ‘Superstars,’ while sharing both the loneliness of the ‘darkness’ and the glory, we will continue to inspire and elevate one another so that each of us can shine even brighter. We will never forget our gratitude to the fans who have supported and guided us until now, as well as to everyone involved, and we intend to keep striving together toward even greater heights. Though we are still inexperienced as a couple, we sincerely ask for your continued guidance and support going forward.

We at Sportskeeda Wrestling would like to congratulate IYO SKY and Naraku on their marriage.

IYO SKY recently lost a close WWE ally

IYO SKY has had a round last few months in the World Wrestling Entertainment. The Genius of the Sky and Rhea Ripley lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships before WrestleMania 42, following which Mami pursued a singles title, ending her alliance with Iyo.

SKY also recently bid farewell to two close real-life friends as Iyo Sky departed the global juggernaut, while Asuka is also said to be taking a long break. The Genius of the Sky faced Asuka in a singles match at Backlash, after which the Empress of Tomorrow bid farewell. There is no word on when/if the veteran would return.
