Kyle Robinson is a right-handed pitching prospect in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. The Pirates acquired Robinson, an 11th-round selection of the Athletics in the 2024 MLB draft, on Saturday.
Robinson was born on July 17, 2003, in Amory, Mississippi. He married his wife, Ashton (nee Rider), in January 2025. Ashton marked their first wedding anniversary with an Instagram post in January.
The post featured seven pictures, ranging from their wedding moments to their July 4th celebration.

Robinson has been in a relationship with Ashton since October 2021.The couple marked their third anniversary with an Instagram post in October 2024.

Robinson proposed to Ashton in July 2024 at the Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. She uploaded pictures from the proposal on Instagram on July 19, 2024.

Ashton was born in November 2001.She has an older sister, Sheridan, and a younger brother (born June 2005). Sheridan has been married since February 2019, having been engaged since February 2017.

Kyle Robinson’s wife, Ashton, graduated from Texas Tech University in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture.Following graduation, she began her professional career with Parkhill in July 2024 as a design technologist.
Ashton worked with tools such as Revit and graphic design software in that role. She also contributed to architectural and design-related projects.She transitioned to a marketing coordinator role in the company in January 2025.
Rider expanded into entrepreneurship by launching her business, R & R Wedding Co., in October 2025. As the owner, she oversaw wedding and event planning operations.
