FFMIC 2026 Fall full format defined

The Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Fall starts on May 30, 2026. Garena has revealed the complete format for this major event. A huge prize pool of 1 crore rupees is up for grabs in this contest. The publisher will host the competition in six different stages:

  • City Qualifiers
  • In-Game Qualifiers
  • Play-Ins
  • Group Stage
  • Knockout Stage
  • Grand Finals

All the stages of the FFMIC 2026 Fall will be hosted online, except the Grand Finals, which will be conducted offline. The top 12 teams from the previous edition will be invited directly to event. Teams from across India can participate in this tournament via City Qualifiers and In-Game Qualifiers.


Format for FFMIC 2026 Fall

Here is the complete format for the India Cup 2026 Fall:

City Qualifiers – May 30 to June 28, 2026

This City Qualifiers will be held in 12 cities from May 30 to June 28. A total of 144 teams can register their names for each city. The top performer from each city will advance to the Play-Ins. The remaining teams can battle in the In-Game Qualifiers.

In-Game Qualifiers – July 5, 2026

The In-Game Qualifiers (FFC) will be conducted on July 5. Several teams from the City Qualifiers will fight in this phase via FFC mode. The top 66 squads from the stage will be progressed to the Play-Ins. The remaining teams will be knocked out of the FFMIC 2026 Fall.

Play-Ins – July 20 to 26, 2026

12 teams from the City Qualifiers, 66 clubs from the In-Game Qualifiers, and the 7th-to-12th-ranked squads from the India Cup 2026 Spring will compete in the Play-Ins. These 84 teams will be divided equally into seven groups.

The top six teams from each group, 42 teams in total, will move to the Group Stage. The remaining teams will face elimination from this Free Fire Max contest.

Group Stage – August 6 to 16, 2026

The top six teams from the FFMIC 2026 Spring will be invited directly to the Group Stage. These squads, and 42 teams from the Play-Ins, will fight in this phase. 48 teams will be seeded into four groups for Week 1 of the Group Stage.

The top nine squads from each group will move to Week 2. 36 teams will be split into three groups this week. The top six squads from each group, 18 teams in total, will secure their seats in the Knockout Stage. The remaining participants will be eliminated from the FFMIC 2026 Fall.

Knockout Stage – August 28 to September 13, 2026

The Knockout Stage will take place over three weeks. 18 teams will be divided into three groups for Week 1. The top 12 teams from there will fight on Day 1 of Week 2 for two spots in the Grand Finals. The remaining 10 squads, and the 13th- and 14th-placed teams from Week 1 will contest on Day 2 of the second week for two spots in the finale.

The remaining 10 teams from Day 2 and the 15th- and 16th-ranked teams from Week 1 will compete on Day 3 of Week 2 for two spots in the finale. Similarly, the bottom-10 teams from Day 3 and the 17th- and 18th-placed teams from Week 1 will battle in Week 3 for six spots in the finale. The remaining teams from Week 3 will be eliminated from the FFMIC 2026 Fall.

Grand Finals – Dates TBD

The top two teams from each day of the Knockout Week 2 and the top six squads from Week 3 will play in the two-day Grand Finals. These 12 teams will first fight in the Point Rush on Day 1. They will then battle in the Champions Rush format on Day 2. The Champion Rush Point is 90.
