007 First Light Operations Walkthrough: The Garden Party

The Garden Party is an Operation in 007 First Light. This is a simulation in which Bond has to locate three disc and exfiltrate with them successfully. Additionally, as a part of this challenge you are not allowed to use the Q-Lens and the enemies you will face deal significantly more damage. As a result, this mission tests your ability to use the stealth mechanics of the game.

So, in this walkthrough, we will tell you how to successfully pull off The Garden Party without a hitch.

007 First Light Operations: The Garden Party Objectives and Game Changers

• Objectives: Infiltrate the musuem garden. Then locate and acquire three separate data discs from three guards. After that, exfiltrate successfully.
• Game Changers: Enemies do more damage and the Q-Lens is disabled.

The whole TacSim (Tactical Simultaion) is set up so that players are incentivized to use stealth over brute force. Simply facing the enemies head-on will most likely result in failure.

007 First Light Operations: How to complete The Garden Party

Once you enter the room, you will see your first guard with a data disc. Subdue the other guard by himself first, and then knock him out and the final guard so as to not raise any alarms. Keep crouching, stay close to cover, and avoid secuirty cameras so as to not be spotted.

Head down the northern hallway indicated until you reach the door to the library. Kick open the door and step aside before the guards see you. When they come out to investigate, do not engage. One they move away, enter the room and pick off the guard patrolling the lower level besides the one with the data disc. Stay in cover until the guard with the disc is in range and then nab him.

Return the way you came all the way back to the first room. Head west and you will see another hallway. Bluff the guard at the top of the staircase before knocking him out. Then head up the stairs and wait for the guard with the disc to come your way.

Finally, you need to leave. Make your way along the floor, avoiding the security cameras and knocking out the guards who come your way. Go left, then right, and then down the staircase near the door. Bluff the guards near the door and exit the Garden Party successfully.
