Wuthering Waves 3.4 replace patch notes: New characters, occasions, Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab, and extra

The Wuthering Waves 3.4 update is available as of June 8, 2026, bringing a set of new content to the game. The much-awaited Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab has been added, bringing a new quest featuring the adventures of Lucy and Rebecca in Solaris-3. Both of them are also available and can be obtained from the gacha, with a copy of Rebecca being available for free for all players.

On the edge of reality and dream, you fight back Nightmare Tacet Discords and search for a solution to the crisis. At the end of your quest, a familiar figure awaits.

  • Eligibility: Complete Main Quest Chapter III Segue “Beneath a Melting Night Sky” to unlock.
  • During Version 3.4, reach the transport dock during Main Quest Chapter III Act I “What Burns Beneath Frostlands” to unlock the “Next Stop: ‘Night City'” Event, through which you can gain early access to the Episodic Quest – Chapter III Side Story “At Dream’s Edge.” Once unlocked early, the Episodic Quest becomes available alongside Main Quest Chapters I, II, and III. Players may experience the Episodic Quest and the Main Quest in parallel. All progress and unlock status of the current quests will not be affected.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 Adjustments and Optimizations

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Expedition Motorbike:

  • Added support for motorbike appearance presets
  • Added the “Custom Preset” section to the Import Preset page.
  • You can have up to 15 Preset Plans, each consisting of a Chassis Mod, a Livery, and an Accessory.
  • Select a Preset Plan and press the “Import Preset” button to remove the current appearance and import the preset.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Camera Mode

  • Added the “Image Quality” feature
  • This feature is available on devices with 4 RAM or above. Higher settings will allow you to capture higher-quality images.

The Image Quality options are as follows:

  • Default (1x): When you take and save an image, the image will be at the current screen resolution.
  • High (2x): When you take and save an image, the image will be at twice the current screen resolution. (※Maximum resolution is 8K.)

Please note: if your device does not meet the requirements, the “Image Quality” feature will not be displayed.

  • Added “Adjust camera distance” and “Rotate”
  • With the “Adjust camera distance” feature, you can adjust the distance between the camera and the character within a certain range.
  • With the “Rotate” feature, you can rotate the angle of the camera between -45° and 45°. Disable the “Rotate” option and press the reset button to reset the camera angle to the default: 0°.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Backpack

  • Added the “Use” button to certain items. Clicking on the button will take you to the location where this item can be used, such as Item Exchange, Wheel, Synthesis Recipe.
  • Adjusted the user experience for various types of Chests. Upon using a chest, you no longer need to unselect the selected option when switching between different options.
  • Adjusted the mechanics of how red dots are added to certain items in the Backpack. A red dot is added only when these items are obtained for the first time.
  • Adjusted the display order of certain items in specific categories of the Backpack.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Resonator Ascension Planner

  • Optimized the functionality of the Resonator Ascension Planner
  • Added the “Focus Resonator” feature. You can set clear ascension goals for a specific Resonator, either in the Resonator Ascension Planner or in the Guidebook’s material acquisition view. Once you set a goal, you can immediately see all the required materials in the Guidebook and jump straight to the locations where you can obtain them.
  • If the needed materials can be topped up via Supply Packs, Synthesis, or other methods, the interface will display a “Replenishable” prompt.
  • When Double Drop events like “Bountiful Crescendo” and “Chord Cleansing” are active, you’ll also see that reflected in the interface.
  • Added skill upgrade priority recommendations to the Resonator Ascension Planner’s Skills screen and each Resonator’s Forte screen, highlighting the highest and second-highest priority skill

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Skills

  • On each Resonator’s Forte screen, with enough materials, use the slider on the skill upgrade page to choose your target level and complete a one-click upgrade all the way to max.
  • If you’re short on a specific material but it can be replenished, the system will automatically pull the material from Supply Packs, Synthesis, or Conversion.

Wuthering Waves 3.4: Challenges, Puzzles, & Events

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Weekly Activity

  • Added the Weekly Activity tab to the Guidebook.
  • Participate in the currently available Weekly Activity events “Phantasma Dreamland: Rhapsody” and “Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways” to win Weekly Activity Points. Upon reaching specific Activity Point milestones, you may claim the corresponding Weekly Rewards.
  • Your accumulated Weekly Activity Points, as well as the Weekly Rewards for each milestone, are reset every Monday at 04:00. Any unclaimed Weekly Rewards at that time will be sent to you via in-game Mail. Please claim them promptly.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Added Phantasma Dreamland: Rhapsody

  • Eligibility: Reach Union Level 30. (Complete the Permanent Event “Phantasma Dreamland” first for a better experience).
  • Access the event via Guidebook > Weekly Activity.
  • The Stage Environment refreshes every Monday. Echoes can only be directed on certain days based on the Stage Environment of the week. Use them to collect Dreamland Coupons to reach the stage goals so that the park may continue to operate.
  • Phantasma Dreamland: Rhapsody offers the new features of Strange Encounters and Relics. Different Strange Encounters and Relics provide various effects that give you a new taste of the event.
  • Completing Dreamland Stage Goals grants Weekly Activity Points. Weekly Activity Points will no longer be granted once the weekly limit is reached. Accumulate Weekly Activity Points to unlock and claim Weekly Rewards. Weekly Rewards reset at 04:00 a.m. each Monday.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Adjusted “Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways”

  • Put the “Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways” event under the Weekly Activity tab. You now claim your rewards from the Weekly Activity page for this event by accumulating Weekly Activity Points, instead of claiming them from the event page by obtaining Illusive Points.
  • Removed the access points for this event from the corresponding event page, Guidebook – Recurring Challenges page, and the Map. You will be able to access it via the Guidebook – Weekly Activity page or Somnoire entrances in Rinascita.
  • The selectable Echo obtained by interacting with the Remnant Crystal is now replaced with a certain number of Advanced Resonance Potions and Tuners, and the new rewards will become part of the Weekly Activity rewards.
  • The rewards – Advanced Sealed Tube, Premium Sealed Tube, Tuner, Shell Credit – obtained from the Remnant Crystal by using the 2 free attempts will become part of the Weekly Activity rewards.
  • Adjusted the completion conditions for Voidmatter Blocks in the “Roya Frostlands Dimmr Plains – Dimmr Deep” area.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Title Screen

  • Added the “Settings” button on the right side of the title screen.
  • Press the “Settings” button to access and adjust the settings for Sounds, Graphics, and Language.

  • Adjusted the display and functionality of Guidebook & Recurring Event Screens
  • Overworld interaction is no longer needed when you try to access Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways, Tower of Adversity, Whimpering Wastes, Tactical Hologram: Synchronization via the Guidebook screen or Recurring Event screen. You will be taken to the selected event or challenge directly.

  • Optimized Ray Tracing performance on PC
  • Incorporated Megalights technology in Ray Tracing to improve the lighting effects in certain environments. (※There isn’t a separate “Megalights” option. It takes effect when Ray Tracing is enabled.)
  • If your device is equipped with an Nvidia 40 Series or newer graphics card and supports Ray Tracing, you can enable it via Settings > Graphics > Ray Tracing.
  • Enabling Ray Tracing may contribute significantly to the device load. Please choose the suitable setting based on the performance of your device.
  • Added interactive effects on PC when Resonators attack vehicles in certain scenes.
  • Optimized the visual performance of certain scenes in the “Roya Frostlands – Dimmr Plains” area.
  • Optimized the fire VFX in certain scenes.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 patch: Dodge Sound Effects

  • In addition to the default sound that plays when a successful Dodge is made, two more sounds will be available in combat, triggered after a specific number of successful Dodge attempts are made within a certain time period.

Trigger conditions:

  1. Default Sound: Dodge 1 time
  2. Intensity 1 Sound: Dodge 4 times
  3. Intensity 2 Sound: Dodge 8 times
  • If no Dodge is made within a certain time period, the count will be reset.

  • The album “Waking of a World” becomes “Echoes of Melodies Vol. 1.”
  • The album “Thousand Island Aftertune” becomes “Echoes of Melodies Vol. 2.”

  • Fixed an issue where Android devices equipped with Dimensity 9400/9400+/9500s processors might experience stuttering, crashing, character model display issues with the Vulkan option enabled. This issue has been resolved. Access to the Vulkan option will be available again for these devices in Version 3.4. After the Version 3.4 update, you can go to the settings to enable it.
  • Fixed an issue where the character model on the Resonators screen might behave abnormally.
