“Jimmy Butler had you grabbing sheets”: Joe Burrow’s ex-teammate rips Rachel Nichols for mocking Donald Trump getting booed at NBA finals

Former NFL tackle Breiden Fehoko was not a fan of FS1 analyst Rachel Nichols tweet about POTUS Donald Trump. He made history on Monday night to become the first sitting president to attend an NBA final.

However, fans at Madison Square Garden were not pleased with Trump’s presence for Game 3 of the showdown between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. During the national anthem, he was shown on the Jumbotron giving the military salute.

Thunderous boos erupted when Trump was shown. He was watching the game from Knicks owner James Dolan’s suite. Rachel Nichols shared the video on X and shared her honest take on the situation.

“Louder than the boos for the Spurs, louder than any boos I’ve heard in this building in a while,” Nichols wrote.

Breiden Fehoko responded to Nichols’ tweet by bringing up an old controversy involving her and six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler.

“Wasn’t louder than when Jimmy Butler had you grabbing sheets in the bubble,” Fehoko wrote.

The retired tackle was referring to the rumors that circulated during the 2020 NBA Bubble. Security responded to a complaint of disturbance and loud bumping. When they found the room during their investigation, the veteran forward opened the door.

Butler was reportedly in practice gear, drenched in sweat. He claimed that he was dribbling a basketball. However, NBA fans started a rumor that he was having an intimate moment with Rachel Nichols in the room. Neither of them has addressed this rumor to date.

Donald Trump opens up about Jaxson Dart after backlash for introducing him

Before the NBA finals, Donald Trump found himself in another situation. Last month, New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced POTUS during a rally at Rockland County.

Following the event, the quarterback faced significant backlash and criticism for supporting Trump. Even his own teammate, linebacker Abdul Carter, publicly questioned his political inclination. During an interview on the show “My Views” on Fox News, Trump addressed the situation and showcased support for Dart.

“He’s a handsome guy. Beautiful guy, conservative guy,” Trump said. “He said, ‘I love you sir.’ And I didn’t know he was doing it. He’s potentially a great quarterback. … When he’s in a game, he moves the team.

“I didn’t know him, but I watched him a little bit. He’s got tremendous potential. If he stays healthy, he’s going to be great. So, when Jaxson gets harrassed a little bit, he’s also loved more because we have more people than they do.”

Jaxson Dart also released a statement after the backlash during a press conference last month. He stated his family’s connection to the military, which is why he respects the President’s position, irrespective of the political party.
