Desi Lydic Does a Spit Take on the Price of Trump’s Gold Coin

Welcome to Late Night Roundup, a rundown of the previous night’s highlights that lets you sleep — and lets us get paid to watch comedy. Here are the 50 best movies on Netflix right now.

President Trump is selling gold commemorative coins in conjunction with the U.F.C. “Freedom 250” fight taking place on the South Lawn of the White House this Sunday, his 80th birthday. According to the website selling them, the president designed the medallions, which have his face on them and are priced as high as $12,000.

Desi Lydic did a spit take at the price on Wednesday’s “The Daily Show.”

“$12,000? For a coin? Does it come with a used Honda Civic?” — DESI LYDIC

“Tonight in New York City, it was Game 4 of the N.B.A. finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks. The highest priced ticket for tonight’s game was over $100,000. Yeah, and Knicks fans were willing to pay double if Trump stayed home.” — JIMMY FALLON

“President Trump was not at Game 4. He elected to fart-nap at home tonight. He decided to stay home and get booed by his wife instead.” — JIMMY KIMMEL

“Yep, President Trump decided to skip tonight’s game, but he said, ‘Don’t worry, Knicks fans, I’ll be sleeping there in spirit.’” — JIMMY FALLON

“A video has gained attention online that appears to show President Trump sleeping during Game 3 of the N.B.A. Finals. At Madison Square Garden. With the Knicks up two to nothing. Maybe the loudest thing I can imagine sleeping through. His white noise machine at home must be set to ‘explosion at the fireworks factory.’” — SETH MEYERS

Kenny Loggins joined Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and Kevin Bacon for a “Classroom Instruments” medley on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show.”

The “Las Culturistas” co-hosts, Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, will return to Thursday’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
