Laotian-Thai fighter Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot raced to his third straight victory at ONE Friday Fights 158 last week after scoring a convincing decision win at ONE Championship’s popular fight series.
The 22-year-old Sor Maneekhot Gym affiliate defeated Maisangkum Sor Yungcharoenkarnchang by decision in their headlining strawweight Muay Thai bout at the event, which took place on June 12 at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Petnamkhong overcame early trouble against Maisangkum‘s signature body punches and picked things up as the fight wore on. In the second round, he made major inroads to swing things in his favor with solid elbows and push kicks that disrupted the rhythm of his opponent.
In the third and final round, Maisangkum came out swinging, but Petnamkhong was every bit ready for it, connecting with jabs to the head and body and mixing it up with kicks with a lot of efficiency to leave the outcome of the match without any doubt.

Another big winner at ONE Friday Fights 158 was Petphupa Aekpujean, who knocked out Wuttidet Torfunfarm in their all-Thai flyweight Muay Thai clash. The former connected on a well-timed counter head kick that instantly dropped his opponent cold and unable to continue at the 2:17 mark of the second round.

ONE Friday Fights 159 on June 19
ONE Friday Fights action continues this week with the 159th iteration of the event happening at Lumpinee Stadium.
Headlining ONE Friday Fight 159 is the bantamweight Muay Thai clash between Worapon Lukjaoporongtom of Thailand and Lenny Blasi of Italy. Both fighters are seeking to extend their respective winning streaks and fortify their push in the promotion.
Worapon, 23, has won three straight, with his latest victory coming last month via unanimous decision over Tom Casse of France. His opponent, Blasi, 21, for his part, has won back-to-back fights to improve to 3-2 in ONE Championship.
Serving as the co-main event is the flyweight Muay Thai battle between Xavier Gonzalez of Spain and Chatanan Sor Jor Joyprajin of Thailand.
ONE Friday Fights is a weekly show established by ONE Championship in 2023 to feature top Muay Thai fighters from around the world, as well as noted prospects coming out of Thailand. It also showcases exciting mixed martial arts and kickboxing action.
