Former AEW World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are collectively known as FTR. They entered Double or Nothing 2026 with the titles. However, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage dethroned them. This was an extraordinary match, and it received a five-star rating from wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer.
LNG Productions recently interviewed Cash Wheeler. He talked about FTR’s matches with the Young Bucks in this conversation. The 39-year-old said that fans and critics should talk more about their AEW Dynasty 2024 ladder match. The former WWE star said that all the wrestlers involved in this showdown nearly died multiple times.
“I wish people talk more about our ladder match with the Young Bucks at Dynasty 2024. We also went after Ospreay and Danielson. We are lucky we got the reactions we did. It came with all four of us almost dying multiple times. So I definitely think people could talk about the ladder match. I love all our matches with the Young Bucks. That ladder match would be my second after Revolution 2026 that just happened. It’s a close second,” he said.
AEW World Tag Team Champion Cash Wheeler showers Eddie Guerrero with praise
In the interview mentioned above, Cash Wheeler praised Eddie Guerrero’s in-ring talent and the ability to adapt to any role. He also said that the deceased star is one of his top three wrestlers of all time.
“He could switch characters in the blink of an eye. You have seen him do it. Like with the Rey (Mysterio) stuff where he’s Latino Heat Eddie. You can watch the change take over him. I recently had a conversation with a friend. He is the top three of all time. My personal top three of all time are Eddie, Brett Hart and Terry Funk. Those are my top three of all time. Eddie is so good at being a cruiserweight, so good in heavyweight style. He’s physical but he’s agile. He can do comedy, he can be menacing. He can do everything,” AEW star Wheeler said.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Hopefully, they will go back to WWE someday.
