A massive spoiler is out there on the internet regarding a WWE star’s first-ever appearance in AAA. On June 20 during the television taping of AAA in Mérida, Yucatán, a former World Heavyweight Champion came out and earned massive cheers from the fans.
On the latest AAA episode, the show’s General Manager Rey Mysterio had teased the debut of a former world champion. Now, fan videos from the arena show that it is none other than Damian Priest. The current WWE Tag Team Champion made a surprise appearance after the live broadcast concluded. This could be a hint at him losing the championships too in order to make a permanent move on Saturdays to AAA on FOX. More videos show him also cut an in-ring promo.
Thanks for the submission!
Damian is currently active on SmackDown, where he holds the tag team titles alongside R-Truth. Just last Friday, he had a successful title defense against The MFTs Talla Tonga & Tama Tonga. While AAA has yet to officially confirm his permanent signing, this appearance marks a major WWE-AAA move. The presence of WWE stars has resulted in better storylines and exciting matchups for AAA.

What began as a celebratory homecoming for the Mexican icon El Grande Americano ended in a violent ambush that resurrected Los Perros del Mal. El Grande wore the Mexico football jersey and was closing the show with an emotional promo thanking the fans. His eyes were officially set on the AAA Mega Championship, currently held by Dominik Mysterio.
The celebration was cut short by NXT’s Karmen Petrovic, allowing Daga, Angel, Berto, and Bronco Nima to surround the ring from behind. The beatdown was ruthless, culminating in Petrovic hitting a corkscrew roundhouse kick. The attackers unzipped their sweatshirts later to reveal the iconic Perros del Mal logo.
The faction was originally led by the late, legendary Hijo del Perro Aguayo. Now Daga represents the veteran, Los Garza carries deep family ties (as their uncle Hector Garza was a core member), Petrovic fits the dominant female role once held by Taya Valkyrie, and Nima serves as the ultimate powerhouse. It is unclear whether Dominik is involved in this or not, as Americano is his next rival on AAA, and injuring him sounds like a good deal to him.
