A major WWE title change took place tonight on this week’s episode of RAW in London, England. Tonight’s show was the final episode of the red brand before Night of Champions this weekend in Saudi Arabia.
The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker defended the World Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) on WWE RAW. Logan Paul attempted to interfere with brass knuckles during the match, but Joe Hendry made his return. Hendry chased Paul through the crowd, and then Seth Rollins showed up.
Thanks for the submission!
Rollins hit Austin Theory with the brass knuckles, and then Bron Breakker chased him through the crowd as well. The Street Profits capitalized on the interference, and Montez Ford connected with a huge Frog Splash off the top rope for the pinfall victory to become the new World Tag Team Champions.
The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory defeated The Street Profits last month at Saturday Night’s Main Event to retain the World Tag Team Championships. Paul suffered a torn triceps during the match and is out of action with the injury.
Bron Breakker replaced Paul in the tag team following The Maverick’s injury. Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins are set to battle in a Steel Cage match this Saturday at Night of Champions.
Bronson Reed refuses to acknowledge a major WWE star
The Vision’s Bronson Reed recently refused to show Roman Reigns respect. Reigns captured the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 earlier this year.
A wrestling fan sent a message to Bronson Reed on social media and claimed that he needed to acknowledge Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief. Reed responded to the fan and claimed that he would never do that. The veteran suffered a torn biceps during his Elimination Chamber qualifying match earlier this year and still has not been able to return to the ring.
“Never,” he wrote.
The Street Profits have been with WWE since 2015 and have established a loyal fanbase over the years. It will be interesting to see how long Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins can hold onto the World Tag Team Championships in the weeks ahead on WWE RAW.
