Robert Griffin III has a major takeaway from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Throughout the latest edition of soccer’s most prestigious tournament, Argentina has cruised through Group J, defeating Austria and Jordan by a combined aggregate score of 5-0. All those goals have come from legendary veteran Lionel Messi, who now holds the World Cup all-time scoring record.
Thanks for the submission!
Portugal, meanwhile, had a very underwhelming start to its campaign last week, being held to a 1-1 draw by the Democratic Republic of the Congo. That has not been helped by criticism towards star Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been described by analysts as being concerned more with his personal stats than his team’s title prospects.

“When you watch Argentina and Portugal, one thing is very clear. Lionel Messi’s teammates LOVE HIM. Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates HATE HIM.”
RGIII reacts to Serena Williams’ return to Wimbledon
Speaking of sports legends, Robert Griffin III had a joyous reaction to Serena Williams’ impending Grand Slam return.
Earlier this month, the multiple-time tennis champion announced that she would play in the WTA after nearly four years away. Since then, she has mainly focused on doubles, partnering with Victoria Mboko at the HSBC Championships in London, then with Karolina Muchova at the Berlin Tennis Open.
On Monday, however, the biggest news regarding her comeback tour came, as the All England Club announced that Williams would be participating in the Wimbledon ladies’ (women’s) singles tournament as the final wildcard. It will mark her first singles tournament since the 2022 US Open.
Griffin shared just four words when reacting to the news:
“THE GOAT IS BACK. 🐐”
The 2026 Wimbledon Championships begins on June 29. Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek are the defending singles champions.
