The post-Night of Champions 2026 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW saw The Vision’s Oracle, Paul Heyman, making his surprise return alongside Brock Lesnar, invading Oba Femi‘s kick-off segment. The Hall of Famer also walked out on factionmate Austin Theory.
The Beast Incarnate and his Hall of Famer Advocate marched to the ring, where Lesnar congratulated Oba Femi on his King of the Ring title, before telling him that Paul Heyman had informed him that he had been calling names behind his back.
Thanks for the submission!
Lesnar went on to tell Femi that Paul had informed him that he had called him a “coward” and a “b*tch”.
Also, The Beast Incarnate took a rare shot at himself, claiming that he has also learned that The Ruler cut great promos, something he was never good at, and that is the reason he has got Mr. Heyman as his spokesperson.
Things turned physical as Lesnar said, “talk sh*t, get hit,” and connected a brutal low blow to Oba Femi’s, following with an F5.
After attacking The Ruler, Lesnar and Heyman were left at the arena, but before they could head back, the former NXT Champion called The Beast Incarnate a “b*tch” in his face and challenged him to a match at SummerSlam 2026.
Lesnar accepted the call-out and added a Hell in a Cell stipulation. Later on the show, Paul Heyman was seen convincing RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to make this match official.
As the Oracle was negotiating with the GM, confused Austin Theory hijacked the segment and asked Heyman if he wasn’t aware he was coming to RAW.
Heyman mocked Theory, “You didn’t know I was here?” to which the former United States Champion said, “No.” Paul responded that he does now and walked out on him.
We have already discussed Brock Lesnar’s return. In this article, we will take a look at three possible reasons why Paul Heyman walked out on Austin Theory:
#3. Leaving the Vision
The Vision has been cursed since it was formed; almost every star in the core group dealt with an injury and had to be sidelined. This started with Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and now Logan Paul.
The unexpected injuries had ruined all major plans for the group that the Stamford-based promotion had, and now it seems as if the creatives have finally given up on the group.
WWE might be quietly scrapping the faction, and fans have seen two major hints about the same on tonight’s Monday Night RAW; one was Paul Heyman walking on Theory.
#2. Brock Lesnar needs his WWE legend back
The Beast Incarnate is all set to compete, most likely in his retirement match at this year’s SummerSlam premium live event.
The former UFC Champion will face King of the Ring Oba Femi in a Hell in a Cell match.
The former WWE Champion and the Ruler had been engaged in a rivalry with Oba Femi since Road to WrestleMania 42.
At the Showcase of the Immortals, the former WWE NXT Champion stunned the world as he dominated The Beast Incarnate, overwhelmed him with his performance, and beat him in a quick match.
The domination by Femi was unbelievable, and he absolutely annihilated The Beast Incarnate. It shook Brock to the core that he left the gloves and boots in the ring, hinting at his retirement.
However, the Next Big Thing returned on RAW roughly a month after Mania and had a second match at Clash in Italy 2026, where Brock defeated Femi; now they are 1-1 against each other.
Now, this could be Lesnar and Femi’s final match at SummerSlam. Also, this could be a retirement match for Brock, and Paul Heyman has been the backbone of his pro wrestling career, and he needed to be with him till WWE SummerSlam. Therefore, the company may have separated him from The Vision for the same reason.
#1. Paul Heyman is going back to the Bloodline soon
Since Roman Reigns has captured the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and regained his position at the top, he has also managed to reform his Bloodline. With The Usos and Jacob Fatu by his side, The OTC is nearly unstoppable.
Now the Bloodline only needs Wiseman, and no one in this industry could replace Paul Heyman as Wiseman.
His walking out on Austin Theory was a clear sign he is not willing to stay associated with them, and once Brock Lesnar retires at SummerSlam, all doors will open for him to rejoin the Bloodline down the line.
This could be another reason he walked out on former WWE United States Champion and laid the seeds for the breakup.
