How to get Light Prince in Universal Tower Defense Z
You have a 6% chance of getting Light Prince as a reward for clearing the Hollow Destroyers vs Reapers event mode. Courtesy of the pity meter, you are guaranteed to acquire the unit after 20 completions of the mode. From the same level, you can obtain the Spiritual Wings item for evolving Light Prince.
In the latest mode, you can choose between two teams: Hollow Destroyers or Reapers. The goal is to obtain points for your team by clearing the mode, using team abilities, and killing the opponent bosses. Every three days, the team with the most points receives bonus rewards, and the top 10 players on each team get additional items.
Take full advantage of the card system in the gamemode. Every five stages, three random cards appear on the screen, and you can choose one depending on the buff that suits your strategy. Clearing the mode will give you Soul War tokens, a special currency used for purchasing items from the event shop.

Light Prince evolves into Light Prince (Ascension) in Universal Tower Defense Z. To unlock more of his abilities, choose the unit in the Evolutions menu and press the Evolve button after acquiring the following:
- 4x Universal Fragment
- 6x Phantom Fragment
- 12x Holy Fragment
- 1x Spiritual Wings
- 25,000 Gold
Fragments are earned by completing Acts in the Legend Stage and Challenge maps. You can also buy these items from the Merchant, as well as craft Universal Fragments at the Crafting Station.
The Spiritual Wings item can be obtained from the Hollow Destroyers vs Reapers mode. It has an 8% drop chance, with a pity requirement of 12 completions.

- When an allied unit gets a debuff, the Light Prince (Ascension) cleanses the debuff, gets +50% Damage for 8 seconds, and does a Follow-up Attack for 150% Damage [250% on Etherealization 6]. This ability has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Kojaku Stance
- If a unit with the “Hollow Destroyer Tag” is in his range, the Light Prince (Ascension) gets -25% SPA.
- On placement, he receives +300% Range and -50% SPA for 40 seconds.
- On Takedown, while each buff is active, he gets +5% Damage. The initial limit is + 30%, but it increases to 45% on Etherealization 2.
- After each buff is over, this unit gains +60% Range.
Silver Strings
- On Attack, this unit has a 20% chance [30% on Etherealization 4] to Link with the strongest Enemy in range.
- If Link succeeds: the unit applies Time Snail for 7 seconds on the linked enemy, increases Affliction and DoT time by 20%, and applies Electrified for 25% Damage over 5 ticks.
- If the enemy dies with Time Snail active, it spreads Electrified to nearby enemies.
