Fortnite is here with yet another special Sprite event that gives players a chance to add rare Sprite variants to their collection. Titled “Shiny Hours”, this event will take place on July 18, 2026, and a huge variety of special Sprites will have their drop rates boosted.
The new Batman Sprite, which has been recently introduced as part of the ongoing DC Hot Bat Summer event, will also appear more often in various areas of the map.

Shiny Hours in Fortnite will begin on July 18, 2026, at 2 pm ET, lasting till 4 pm ET. A second round of the event will be available from 9 pm ET to 11 pm ET.

What will happen during the Shiny Hours event (July 18, 2026) in Fortnite?
The following events are scheduled to take place while Shiny Hours is ongoing in Fortnite:
- Batman Sprites will spawn more often
- Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil variants of Sprites will have their drop rates boosted
- The Batman Beach Buggy will spawn more frequently
- All players will begin the match with a Grapnel Gun and a Self-Revive Device
- Sprite Hunt Rift Anomaly will be active for all matches
- All matches will end with the Battle Bus Victory Royale Rift Anomaly
