John Cena Breaks Silence After Huge WWE Announcement

WWE legend John Cena recently made a major announcement and has now posted about it on X.

The GOAT has revealed his new Never Seen 17 collection of merchandise, which he says are some of his favourite designs from his farewell tour last year. This collection will be available to WWE Club members. The products are customised for 17 iconic American cities, said Cena in the video advert. His post’s caption read:

“Some of my favorite designs for the Farewell Tour will be available for @ClubWWE members, but this is just one piece of what I hope to help make an incredible experience for members. Join the club!”

Cena retired in December last year after losing his final ever match to Gunther via tapout. He has since signed a five-year deal with WWE in which he is acting as an ambassador for the company.

He hosted WrestleMania 42 and, at Backlash, came out to announce the John Cena Classic, a tournament and possibly even an event that will have future superstars competing for the John Cena Classic Title, a key twist being that the audience gets to vote on who wins the tournament.

Cena was seen reflecting on his farewell tour from 2025 in the first episode of the new Unreal season. He shared some previously unknown tidbits that will please WWE fans, including how he gave AJ Styles an unplanned RKO during their Crown Jewel match last year based on the crowd’s reaction, and how he intentionally wanted to have bad Main Event matches at PLEs as a heel, only for the creative team to go in a different direction.

Cena has recently had success in Hollywood as well, after his star turn as the Peacemaker in the DCEU (Detective Comics Extended Universe) and multiple other projects he is currently working on. His nearly 23-year career has seen him become a 17-time WWE World Champion, a near-insurmountable record.

It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for John Cena as an ambassador in WWE.
