During one of his recent broadcasts for the Daily Signal, Victor Davis Hanson criticized the audacity of DSA leftists, many of whom were not even born in the United States, to presume to lecture the country as they run for office.
It’s a great point that somehow gets lost on most liberals and almost everyone in the media.
Americans do not want to be told what an awful country this is by people who got here five minutes ago.
In the video, Hanson says:
When you see the agenda of the Democratic Socialists, I mean, it’s very funny to have these young kids start mouthing off – Well we don’t like the name president, we’re gonna get rid of that, and the Senate, that’s a wealthy person’s… that’s not fair, we’re just gonna get rid of that.
And we’ll just expand the House and that’ll be like a radical Athenian democracy, whatever they say is the law. And of course, we’ll get rid of the Supreme Court, we’ll get rid of the president.
And they have all these ideas and you think, do you think that Hamilton and Jefferson and all these people died for you people? Do you think we went 250 years and that we fought everywhere from Iwo Jima to Belleau Wood to Gettysburg so that you people could just walk in, many of them from first or second generation immigration, lecturing us?

Zohran Mamdani became a citizen of this country in 2018. Where does someone like him get off telling Americans anything about America?
