Liv Morgan shut down all her critics at SummerSlam 2026. She successfully defended her WWE Women’s World Championship in her first defense of the title against a tough opponent in the 2026 Queen of the Ring, IYO SKY. The Genius of the Sky earned the title shot by defeating the Miracle Kid at Night of Champions 2026. But The Judgment Day member came well-prepared for the rematch and managed to overcome IYO to retain her title.
Fans had been vocal about Triple H‘s creative team and the lack of pace in the women’s division, which also led to champions not defending their titles frequently. However, it appears The Game had worked to fix this issue, as on the post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night RAW, things seemed to have picked up for the red brand’s women’s division.

Sol Ruca faced Roxanne Perez on the red brand in a singles match. However, the referee called a DQ after catching Liv Morgan interfering, prompting Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to annihilate Ruca.
As The Judgment Day stood tall over Sol Ruca, Becky Lynch’s music hit. The Man entered the ring and straight-up challenged the Women’s World Champion.
However, Liv and her crew walked off in classic heel fashion. But as they arrived on the entrance ramp, Stephanie Vaquer‘s music filled the arena, to Liv’s shock. La Primera took out Roxanne and Raquel before chasing the Miracle Kid to the ring, where she put a beating on her. She then had a confrontation with Lynch over who deserves a shot at Morgan’s title.

Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan’s rivalry was without a doubt an interesting one, but it did not get a proper build. However, fans had hopes that WWE would renew their feud after WrestleMania. However, on RAW after The Show of Shows, The Judgment Day brutally attacked Vaquer and sent her on hiatus.
That said, the saga between Liv Morgan and Vaquer is still incomplete. Given the bad blood they have, WWE must first bring their storyline to a proper closure before La Primera moves into another rivalry.
#2. Can’t jeopardize Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE momentum
The Dark Angel has been a perfect fit in Monday Night RAW’s main-event spot, as she is a marketable star and has the quality to become one of the greatest of all time. If the Stamford-based promotion takes her out of the main title picture and puts her in the mid-card mix, it could destroy her entire aura.
On the other hand, we have Becky Lynch, a certified megastar and a guaranteed Hall of Famer. At this point in her career, The Man doesn’t need a title to establish herself as a top star; she could still shine in the mid-card, which she has been doing for the past few months.
WWE could pull the trigger and trade her to SmackDown by booking The Man as Chelsea Green’s first challenger, marking a significant shift in SmackDown’s women’s division. Meanwhile, Vaquer could complete her rivalry with Liv Morgan.

Since Stephanie Vaquer went on a break from WWE, a large section of fans started to pitch her returning as a heel on television. This would showcase another side of herself.
Continuing her rivalry with Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Title would help her transition into a heel, should she once again end up losing to the Miracle Kid due to interference by The Judgment Day.
She could unleash a darker side and maybe even switch brands to chase the WWE Women’s Championship. A heel Vaquer against a babyface Rhea Ripley would be a massive box office feud.
At the end of the day, a feud with Morgan would be more meaningful, storyline-wise, than a rivalry against Becky Lynch, or anyone else, as it would help complete her redemption arc.
