On August 4, 2026, BTS fans drew attention to a social media post made by a MetLife Stadium employee following the group’s recent performances at the venue. The employee, identified as David F. Flores and appearing in official stadium attire with a visible staff badge numbered 286, shared a Facebook update that referenced the BTS shows held on August 1 and 2 as part of the ARIRANG World Tour.
In the post, which included a photo of him standing with concertgoers in front of a MetLife sign and a BTS promotional image, he wrote:
“I finally figured out my best BTS Member….The fireworks ….They were the only part that really lit up the night for me! Nose jobs, pounds of cover up, eyeliner, and mascara! Not the fans, the singers! Great fan base, though! A walk in the park compared to what we’ll encounter next week!”
The Facebook post circulated among fans after screenshots were shared online, including in a public message directed at the MetLife Stadium account. The message highlighted concerns about the comments in relation to the artists and the broader fan community present at the stadium.
As the screenshots spread, additional posts and messages reached the venue operator, with some fans contacting the stadium through email. MetLife Stadium has not issued a public statement on the matter. Responses to certain emails indicated that the issue was being addressed internally.
The original Facebook post by the employee was later removed. The sequence of events took place in the days immediately after BTS completed their two shows at the East Rutherford venue, which formed part of the North American leg of their ongoing world tour.
Fans took to X to voice their concerns and called out the employee.
One fan commented:
“@MetLifeStadium please take actions toward this person, this is unacceptable and super unprofessional”
