Brewers ace Jacob Misiorowski backed his “heater” against Shohei Ohtani
Jacob Misiorowski is no stranger to facing Shohei Ohtani and the Brewers ace came into Saturday’s game prepared for the four-time MVP swinging at his heater.
“He knows what I’m going to do. I’m going to throw a heater,” Misiorowski said. “He’s going to hit it or he’s not going to hit it. We’re going to see.
“You know, I’m going to go out there and do my thing. I’m not going to change it for the dude that’s in the box. That’s what I do against everyone: ‘I’m going to throw a heater. Good luck. Here it is.'”
Following his outing, Misiorowski has 210 strikeouts for the season after 23 starts. He earned his 12th win after the Brewers’ 4-1 victory.
