The star is none other than Will Ospreay. In mid-2025, The Aerial Assassin suffered a neck injury. The issue was serious, and he had to take a prolonged break from the in-ring action. During this time, he underwent surgery to heal his neck injury. Recently, AEW shared a video on its YouTube channel that highlighted Ospreay’s battle with the hard time last year.

In that video, the former International Champion revealed that Tony Khan paid for his neck surgery last year. The Aerial Assassin said that the cost of the medical procedure was more than the cost of his house in England. Therefore, he will always be grateful to the AEW President for his financial help.

“Tony’s paid for the entire thing, which is crazy. I saw that bill. Oh my God, man. It costs more than my house in England. If you pay for that for my health… I’ll be a little soldier for him for the rest of my life,” said Ospreay.
