Tower of Hell is a classic Roblox obstacle course experience where your objective is to be the first to reach the top of the tower. This title is all about making precise jumps, avoiding glowing damage pads and precarious falls, and ensuring you get to the top before the timer runs out. Here’s how you can get started with Tower of Hell.

The premise of Tower of Hell is simple: reach the top of the tower while racing against the timer and the other players. What makes this premise engaging and challenging is the amount of precision required to climb the tower. There are no checkpoints along the way, and getting to the end of the tower is a lengthy journey that requires all of your focus.

Towers in this title rotate every eight minutes; if you can’t reach the top within this time limit, you will lose your progress. So, in order to beat the timer, you need to avoid making mistakes as much as possible while being quick. This is a fairly tall order, as platforms are tiny and damage-dealing platforms are scattered all across the different levels.

You can track your progress by referring to the bar on the right. This will inform you of your position on the tower as well as that of the other players. Keep an eye on the timer, make jumps carefully, and reach the end of the tower to win the game and earn Coins.

Gameplay features

  • Tower types: The game features three main towers that you can climb based on your experience and preferred challenge level. New players are directed towards the Noob Tower, where the challenge is not as pressing as its advanced counterparts. It is still quite challenging and requires plenty of focus to clear. The second level of difficulty is presented with the Pro Tower, where the challenge is amped up and the game demands even more precision. Lastly, The Tower of Hell is the most challenging tower of the game, which compiles every other tower variant into a single, extremely lengthy map.
  • Tower variations: Each tower in this game has a set of layouts that it cycles through every once in a while. The tower that loads in once the timer ends is randomly chosen, which makes the challenge quite unpredictable. In total, across all three difficulty modes, the game features over 300 tower layouts, which makes mastery over its mechanics a lengthy and time-consuming effort.
  • Damage pads: You are bound to encounter glowing spots on platforms as you climb the tower. Upon coming in contact with these spots, your health will instantly drop to zero, and you will have to start the tower from the very beginning. Avoiding these pads is one of the more challenging aspects of climbing the tower, especially since they are usually positioned to reduce the margin of error in a jump.
  • Coins: Coins are the main currency of the game, used to purchase gears, Mutators, and more. These are earned at the end of a round based on your progress; the higher you climb, the more Coins you earn. The amount you earn also depends on the chosen tower type; the higher the difficulty, the more Coins you earn.
  • Gear: Gear can be bought using Coins and equipped to apply various passive effects. These can help make the climb much easier as they directly target aspects of your movement, such as jump height and speed, movement speed, and more. You can also upgrade your Gear by spending Skill Points in the Skill Tree, making it more effective. Note that Gear only remains in effect for one round, after which you must repurchase it.
  • Mutators: Mutators are like Gears, except their effects extend to the entire server. They can be used to improve the competition, helping them clear the tower more easily. Mutators cannot be upgraded and they only last for a single round. So, if you’re planning on using them, you should consider activating them at the beginning of a round.
