Shubman Gill noticed in Mumbai with standard slapstick comedian after SL vs IND 2026 Tests [Watch]

Team India’s Test and ODI skipper Shubman Gill was spotted in Mumbai with popular stand-up comedian Tanmay Bhat on Friday, August 28. They were seen exiting a restaurant, and the ace batter posed for a few pictures with fans before sitting in his car.

Gill returned to India following the side’s recently concluded two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. The visitors completed a 1-0 series victory. India clinched a clinical 165-run victory in the opening encounter in Galle.

India were in a commanding position after enforcing the follow-on with a first-innings lead of 213. However, Sri Lanka salvaged a rearguard draw, with Sonal Dinusha remaining unbeaten on 133 off 264 balls.

Here’s the video of Gill and Bhat coming out of a restaurant in Mumbai:

Shubman Gill failed to make an impact in the Test series opener against Sri Lanka, registering scores of 16 and 8. He bounced back with an impressive 50-run knock off 108 in India’s only innings of the subsequent fixture.

Devdutt Padikkal was declared the Player of the Series for his fantastic batting exploits. The southpaw batted at No. 3 in Sai Sudharsan’s absence. He slammed two centuries and amassed 328 runs across three innings, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer of the series.
