“Hiding from me” – WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes responds to John Cena’s problem

WWE superstar Cody Rhodes has responded to John Cena’s recent challenge to him. The two stars spent the first half of last year battling each other for the WWE Championship and ended their feud with one win each.

Cena cemented his heel turn by beating Rhodes for his 17th WWE World Championship at WrestleMania 41. The American Nightmare then beat Cena in a rematch for the title at SummerSlam.

Now, they are feuding once again, but this time away from the ring. Recently, John Cena posted a video on X, as part of an ad campaign for the popular mobile game Clash of Clans. In the video, he issued a challenge to Rhodes, saying he will never beat him in Clash of Clans. The game posted a response from Rhodes on X.

“John Cena. Hiding from me in Clash of Clans? Well, I won’t stop searching until I find you,” Rhodes said in the video.

The video also features a cameo from WWE legend Shawn Michaels.

Cody Rhodes won’t be alone in his quest, as WWE names such as The Undertaker, IYO SKY, Jey Uso, Kane, and Alexa Bliss will join him as reimagined iconic Clash of Clans characters.

This challenge is part of “The Search for Cena” Clash of Clans event, which will run from September 1 to 30. Millions of players around the world will be tasked with finding Cena’s loot-base and raiding it.

If they are successful in raiding John Cena‘s village in the game, they will be rewarded with a one-time-only Cody Rhodes village statue.

Cody Rhodes set for Randy Orton rematch at Sunday Night’s Main Event

At SummerSlam, Randy Orton made a surprise return to attack Cody Rhodes during the WWE Championship match against CM Punk. This allowed Punk to capitalize and retain the title.

Rhodes confronted Orton on the following episode of SmackDown, and things have only intensified between the two stars. General manager Nick Aldis made a match between them official for Sunday Night’s Main Event, a rematch of their WrestleMania 42 bout.

Last week, the two stars had a heated promo battle, with The Viper insulting Rhodes’ mother and wife and also bringing his dog, Pharaoh, into the conversation.

The American Nightmare responded by saying that at Sunday Night’s Main Event, he will find out if Orton is the “first-class screw-up,” just like his father was.
