Team India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill was spotted driving out of the Mohali Stadium in a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63. The star batter made his first appearance in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League 2026 on Sunday, September 6.
Opening the batting for Fazilka Falcons, the 26-year-old scored 40 off 21 balls against Ludhiana Lions at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. Following the game, Gill exited the venue in a swanky two-door coupe.
Fans surrounded the vehicle and clicked photographs and videos as the batter drove out in style. According to CarWale, the ex-showroom price of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 top model in Mumbai is ₹3.55 crore.

Fazilka Falcons eked out a thrilling one-run victory in the clash. Shubman Gill helped the side get off to an impressive start after they were put in to bat first. Prerit Dutta provided impetus towards the back end with his 36 off 23 as the team finished 170/9 in 20 overs.
The match came down to the wire. Madhav Singh Pathania (37* off 16) fought hard for Ludhiana Lions but eventually fell narrowly short.
Fazilka Falcons are third in the points table with three wins from five games. They will take on Bathinda Royals on Tuesday, September 8, at the same venue.

Shubman Gill was up against his India teammate Arshdeep Singh in the contest. Ludhiana Lions skipper Arshdeep bowled a few loose deliveries in the powerplay, and Gill capitalized on it by smashing consecutive boundaries.
The left-arm pacer bowled a back-of-length delivery on the fifth ball of the third over. Gill shuffled to make some room and carved it through point for a four. Arshdeep went a touch fuller next, but the opener worked it towards midwicket for another four.

The seamer conceded 16 runs from the over. He had a forgettable outing, remaining wicketless and conceding 51 runs from four overs.
