Trump’s efforts to cheat in the midterm election aren’t surprising to Democrats at all. On Friday night during an appearance on MS NOW, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) laid out why voters are so angry at Trump, and why he was unsurprised that Trump made his supporters take an oath that they would cheat in the midterm election.

The woman in New Hampshire, she said that her heating oil has gone up from $250 a month to $1,200 a month. She was in tears. She didn’t know how she’s gonna pay for the heat in the winter.
This is a president who has put his own family’s interests ahead of the economy of many Americans.
Someone who I met in Texas had said, he, she voted for Trump even though her daughter was LGBT because she thought she would get the Trump economy. But now she regrets it because the economy is a disaster.
And so he’s telling people cheat because he knows he’s gonna lose. And what I’m hoping for and what we’re organizing for is one of the biggest turnouts in American history. We know they’re gonna try to cheat. We need to make this too big to rig. We need to win across this country and start to take back our nation.

I don’t think that Democrats need to worry about making the election too big to rig. That is a great message to boost Democratic turnout, but Donald Trump may have already made this election too big to rig through his disastrous policies.
Trump has alienated voters that Republicans were counting on getting support from. The Republican voter suppression efforts are concentrated on keeping Democrats in blue districts from voting.
What Republicans can’t suppress are independents and swing voters turning out in huge numbers to vote against them.
Everyone knows Trump is trying to cheat in the midterms. Trump has been trying to cheat for a year. Democrats are prepared for anything that Trump might do.
It isn’t 2020 anymore, and there will be no surprises this time around.
