How to make use of Stingray in Wardogs

Wardogs has a long list of tools to play with, and the Stingray is one of its most underappreciated. The Stingray is an incredibly powerful drone that empowers you to nullify enemy aggression with ease.

With the drone in your hand, you can fly around an area, scout for enemies, and use the drone’s explosive capabilities to destroy armored vehicles. If you haven’t gotten your hands on this drone yet, we’ll help you build it and walk you through the process of using it.

You build a Stingray using the Support’s Large Hammer in your FOB’s radius. If you don’t have this hammer yet, you’ll need to level up to Support Level 8. You can then purchase this hammer from the vendor and head over to wherever your FOB is set up.

Once you’re in the FOB radius, equip the hammer and hold RMB to open the build menu. The Stingray will be on the third page of this menu. Select the Stingray and place it wherever you feel like. You can then hammer and build the Stingray launcher to get started.

How to use the Stingray drone in your matches in Wardogs

Once you have the Stingray launcher set up, using the Stingray drone is fairly simple. Walk up to the launcher and interact with it. Press F to use the launcher, and then B to purchase the Stingray UAV drone. Launch the drone with LMB, and you’ll then get a bird’s-eye view of the map from the drone.

Use your mouse to move the drone around and dictate the direction it is moving towards. During this phase, you’ll also be able to spot enemies on the ground, and feel free to convey this information to your squad.

What you’re really looking for, however, is an armored vehicle such as a Humvee or a tank. Once you spot one of these vehicles, aim your drone towards it and crash right into the body to explode. This will deal a ton of damage to the vehicle and is enough to destroy most vehicles in one hit, with the exception of the tank, which requires two hits.
