Blake Monroe appears to have found another reason to keep an eye on Instagram. The WWE Superstar recently left a playful and flirty comment under Chelsea Green’s latest Instagram post.

“I only open this app for you,” Monroe wrote.

The comment caught the attention of wrestling fans, due to the fact that Monroe and Green have already crossed paths on WWE television.

Green’s IG post showed the WWE Women’s Champion posing backstage in a colorful pink outfit while standing beside her championship title. She captioned the post “BACK TO WERK,” alongside several playful emojis.

Monroe’s response added another layer of personality to the exchange and immediately became one of the talking points surrounding the post. The interaction is indeed interesting given the history between the two WWE Superstars.

Blake Monroe and Chelsea Green already have some history

Blake Monroe and Chelsea Green have shared television time since Monroe moved into the WWE SmackDown roster. In July, Monroe interrupted a backstage segment involving Green and Tiffany Stratton. WWE later posted a clip showing Monroe delivering a painful introduction to Green after coming out of nowhere during the confrontation.

That makes Monroe’s latest IG comment pretty interesting. Whatever the intended meaning behind the message, it certainly stands out from the more confrontational interaction fans have seen between the two on WWE TV.

Blake Monroe is currently involved in a developing rivalry with Giulia. The two superstars were scheduled to collide on SmackDown, but their issues have repeatedly boiled over before they could make it to the ring.

On September 4, Giulia attacked Monroe during an interview and hit her with the Arrivederci Knee, disrupting their scheduled match. The rivalry continued into this week’s WWE programming. WWE’s SmackDown page featured Monroe vowing to get payback against Giulia on September 18.

Meanwhile, Green has had plenty of happenings around her as well. The WWE Women’s Champion recently competed despite suffering a broken orbital bone and was medically cleared on the condition that she continue wearing a protective facial covering. Green then successfully defended her Interim WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax on September 11.
