Jon Moxley has just sent a scathing message to Will Ospreay right before their match next week at AEW All Out. He boldly declared that Ospreay’s downfall was beginning that night.
The two are set to clash with the world title on the line. This was a match that the Aerial Assassin himself requested, as he knew that Mox was someone he owed a debt to and someone who had his number.
Earlier tonight on AEW Collision, Jon Moxley cut a promo backstage. He warned Will Ospreay about the position he put himself in, as he was no longer holding back against him. Mox boldly claimed that he knew he was going to walk away as the victor at All Out, and he knew what consequences this would have for Ospreay.
“My problem with this match isn’t that I’m afraid I’m going to lose. My problem with this match is in all likelihood, I’m going to win. And then what happens to Will Ospreay? The climb from the back of an ambulance at the O2 Arena, all the way to the top of the world in Wembley Stadium, that was a long one. And that fall will be even longer. I don’t know if you have it in you to do it all over again. I can’t do it with you this time, man; I can’t be by your side. I’ve already given you everything that I have. I’ve given you everything. You worry about what I’ve taken from you; I gave you everything I had, ” said Jon Moxley. [0:47-1:30]
Jon Moxley fully knew what it was like to fall from grace after being the world champion. It seems that a part of him felt pity for Will Ospreay, as he’d need to pick himself up from a low place once more. Last time around, Ospreay had the assistance of the Death Riders, but now, he’d have to find his own way of bouncing back.
