Myles Borne shocked the entire WWE universe by betraying his long time partner Tavion Heights at NXT Heatwave. The former NXT North American Champion has finally spoken up about his actions. The star played everyone by attempting to reconcile with Tavion on last week’s episode of NXT and then attacking him again.
Myles Borne and Tavion Heights faced the Vanity Project at NXT Heatwave. After an intense match, Borne and Tavion lost their gold to the heel faction. This was the first heartbreak that Myles suffered that night. Later on in the show, Myles faced Jackson Drake with his NXT North American Championship on the line. Misfortune struck Baby Orton again as he lost his second Championship on the same night.

Myles was very frustrated after this and ended up attacking Tavion Heights and turning heel. The heel turn came as a shock to many fans as the 27-year old star and Tavion had been together for a very long time. On last week’s episode of NXT, Myles tried to fix things with his tag team partner and Tavion was even ready to forgive him.
However, it was all a ruse as Myles brutally attacked Tavion with a chair afterwards. Everyone was shocked to see this brutal and unhinged version of Myles Borne. When he was heading backstage, a cameraperson asked Myles what was that in the ring. The former North American Champion said this:
“Deadweight.”
Myles has a lot of potential and could become the top heel in NXT.

NXT Heatwave changed the landscape of the developmental brand tremendously. The show crowned several new Champions including the NXT Champion, NXT Women’s Champion, the NXT North American and Tag Team Champions. After the show, Myles shared a video on social media revealing why he betrayed Tavion Heights.
“I knew how much it meant to you, and I knew if I turned my back on you, you were going to suplex me into the fifth row. I mean, come on. I’m I’m deaf, I’m not blind. I could see it, and I did not want to believe it. I didn’t want to believe you’d do that. So I reacted, and I got you before you got me, Tavion. I mean, how many times have we seen this among friends in WWE? Yet, everyone always ask, you know, in this business, ‘Do you want to make money, or do you want to make friends?’ And I was naive enough to think that I could do both. This s*cks, man,” he said.
