Control Resonant has several secrets for you to uncover over the course of its story. While a ton of them may lead to lore, some, like the Secret Hideouts, lead to tangible rewards. These hideouts, however, can be fairly difficult to find as they’re scattered across the game’s map, locked behind puzzles.
Still, despite how hard they may be to find, they’re worth seeking out as they reward you with health upgrades, which go a long way in making the early hours easier. If you’re struggling to find these Secret Hideouts, we’re here to help.

Where to find the Secret Hideouts in Control Resonant
Downtown
The first Secret Hideout is by the Oldest House. Exit the building, and you’ll spot a restaurant in front of it. Enter the restaurant and interact with the power panel behind the counter.
You then need to turn on all the appliances in ascending order of their size. Interact with the radio, coffee machine, soda dispenser, microwave, and refrigerator to complete this puzzle and unlock the hideout.
Central
For the next Secret Hideout in Control Resonant, you need to head over to the “WEAR’EM & WASH’EM” laundromat located in Central. The image above should help you locate it. Arrive here, and you’ll identify the store through its bright blue fascia sign.
Enter the store, and you’ll find a note mentioning 0s and 1s. The 0 represents OFF, while 1 represents ON. To solve this puzzle, you need to turn on all the washing machines labelled 1, while keeping the rest off.
Evacuation Zone
You’ll find the Evacuation Zone Secret Hideout inside the Konstig building, down the Laundromat Path to Sinkhole. Enter the building, and you’ll find a note at reception that mentions the paintings sold over the month: Journey, Windows, Thunder, and Tides. You have to interact with the paintings in the same order.
Walk up to the display showcase and interact with the painting with the road. Then, interact with the scenic painting with the tree with twisted branches. Next, interact with the painting with the giant V-shaped tree. Finally, interact with the painting of the crashed ship to complete this puzzle.
West Incursion Zone
Head to the southern end of the West Incursion Zone, and you’ll find a giant retail store with the orange “URBAN FRESH Mart” fascia sign. To unlock the Secret Hideout here, you need to interact with the cash register behind the counter. However, it needs a code.
To find its code, head over to the soda dispenser. You’ll notice that it has certain lights flashing over the soda buttons. Take note of the positions of these lights to decipher the code, which will be 1213.

The Park
Walk east of The Park’s Research Site, and you’ll spot a nicely lit-up cafe named Atlantis. Enter the cafe, and you’ll spot a note mentioning table reservations. Check the corresponding menus for these tables, and you’ll decipher a code: BDAC. Enter this code into the cash register in the cafe to unlock the Secret Hideout.
Unknown
For the final hideout, head to the center of Unknown, and you’ll spot a gym named “Pulse Fitness,” easily identifiable by its purple fascia sign. Enter the gym, and you’ll find a note here detailing a cardio plan. Interact with the machines the same way the note suggests, and you’ll unlock the final Secret Hideout in Control Resonant.
