Austin Police released bodycam footage of the moments after a Venezuelan illegal alien was shot by an ICE officer over the weekend.
An ICE agent shot and wounded a Venezuelan illegal alien during a confrontation in the 7000 block of West Anderson Lane in North Austin on Sunday afternoon.
The wounded illegal was transported to a local hospital and in stable condition.
According to reports, an ICE SUV rammed into the illegal alien’s blue Toyota Corolla when he tried to drive away.
An ICE agent got out of his vehicle and shot the illegal as he tried to flee.
The illegal, identified as Wilbur Rafael Garces Perez, claimed that police officers yanked him out of the car after he was shot.
Police bodycam footage shows officers gently helped him out of the vehicle and cuffed him.
