Arsenal forward Kai Havertz will leave the German national team’s camp and undergo a scan after picking up a suspected hamstring injury, as per The Athletic.
The 27-year-old star was forced off due to the problem during Germany’s 1-1 draw against Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League on Thursday. Prior to the contest between the teams, Germany star Jamal Musiala had also pulled out of the game due to an injury during his warm-up.

Havertz will now return to Arsenal and undergo further examination to determine the consequences of the suspected injury. The report claims that there is optimism around the nature of the hamstring problem, suggesting it may not be a serious issue.
However, the player is unlikely to take any risks at the moment. As such, Havertz will now await the test results after returning to the Arsenal training base.
The German has been an integral member of Mikel Arteta’s team this season. He has made seven appearances in all competitions, scoring three times. Havertz found the back of the net against Manchester City in the Community Shield and against Coventry and Chelsea in the Premier League.
Arsenal will be hoping he can be fit to play after the three-week-long international break. The Gunners return to action on October 10, when they host Leeds United at the Emirates.

Germany head coach Jurgen Klopp offered a clear update on Havertz after their game against Netherlands. The former Liverpool boss stated that it isn’t great to lose Havertz and Musiala to injuries and hoped that the issue is ‘nothing serious’.
Klopp also suggested that both players could be available to play for their clubs after the international break. He told reporters:
“Both are currently undergoing an MRI. I hope we get the diagnosis (on Thursday) evening. But of course, this isn’t great. I hope it’s nothing serious. The lads are probably out for us. But hopefully, they’ll be back in action relatively quickly.”
Germany took the lead against Netherlands in the 32nd minute through Felix Nmecha. However, Cody Gakpo found the equaliser for the hosts in the 92nd minute to rescue a point.
Klopp and co. will face Greece on Sunday. Germany also play Serbia and Greece once again before they wrap up the international break.
