“Going to AEW was the worst decision he ever made,” “Just retire bro”- Fans go wild after former champion is as soon as once more sidelined because of harm

An unfortunate update has just surfaced regarding a popular AEW star. It was revealed that they will be sidelined due to an injury, and fans were not happy about this.

Since his run in NJPW, up until he became All Elite, Jay White has become a popular name among wrestling fans. Whether as a heel or as a face, many have been tuning in for his matches. But unfortunately, he has had his fair share of setbacks, as he has been sidelined with injuries in recent years.

Tony Schiavone from the commentary desk announced that the Switchblade will be out of action in AEW for the next 1 to 2 months due to injury. Specific details, including the nature of the injury, were not revealed.

Fans have reacted to this, and there has been heavy criticism of White. Many of them could not believe he was on the shelf yet again. They felt that this was the sole reason holding him back from being pushed, as he was completely injury-prone at this point. In line with this, one fan mentioned he could miss the Continental Classic again.

Other fans claimed that his signing with AEW was a mistake, and at this point he should retire.

Later that month, he competed in his first pay-per-view match in some time, teaming up with Juice Robinson in a tag team chain match against The Dogs. It was reported by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez at the time that there was an injury scare for him, but fortunately he was only banged up and would only miss roughly a week to recover.

“He was banged up, but he was only supposed to be out for about a week or so. So he’ll be there,” said Meltzer.

Jay White was reportedly not injured too badly at AEW Redemption, thus he’ll be back for the Continental Cup: Alvarez: “White also in the tournament, so apparently he was not injured too badly when he got spiked on his head.“ Meltzer said: “He was banged up, but he was only

The evidence has shown itself, and unfortunately for Jay White, his injuries have constantly derailed his momentum. Hopefully this latest one is not as bad as expected, and he’ll go on a proper run once he comes back.
