At UFC 332, Silva showcased incredible striking prowess, displaying pinpoint accuracy and excellent distance management to get the better of her opponent in the majority of their exchanges.

Her ability to string together kicks from multiple angles also gave her an edge on the feet. In the clinch, Silva was the stronger fighter, effortlessly chaining together sequences to force takedowns and add another dimension to her game.

Nevertheless, Wang mounted a valiant comeback in the later rounds, particularly finding her rhythm in the final frame by forcing exchanges and hurting her opponent with powerful punches in the pocket.

Alas, it was too little, too late, and when the final bell rang, Silva was crowned the victor via unanimous decision. Silva has now extended her undefeated streak in the UFC to nine straight wins.

Nunes, meanwhile, is set to return to active competition on Nov. 14 at UFC 334, where she will take on reigning women’s bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison. The ‘Lioness’ last graced the octagon during her UFC 289 victory over Irene Aldana in 2023.

Nunes is widely regarded as the greatest women’s mixed martial artist of all time and boasts wins over big names such as Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg, Valentina Shevchenko and Ronda Rousey, among others.
