Lamar Jackson harm: Ravens get dangerous information from sports activities medical doctors over QB1’s brutal ankle twist vs. Titans

Lamar Jackson exited the Baltimore Ravens’ Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans with an injury. The two-time MVP twisted his ankle and couldn’t return.

Sports doctors had bleak news about Jackson’s status.

“Left high-ankle sprain, hopefully a mild grade 1. I expect him to miss the rest of the game if the high/medial ankle is sprained, especially since they’re up 24-7. Not worth the risk,” wrote Dr Jesse Morse.

“By video, Lamar Jackson suffered a mild high ankle eversion sprain. Hoping he’s out more for score than seriousness,” wrote Dr David J. Chao.

Lamar Jackson was playing at a high level before his injury. He had amassed 222 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions with the Ravens leading comfortably.

However, Jackson’s game ended when Titans defensive end Jermaine Johnson sacked him. According to ESPN, Johnson landed on Jackson’s left ankle. He then went to the sideline and couldn’t return to the gridiron.

Tyler Huntley entered the game and saw out the game to help the Ravens pick up their third win of the season. Their other wins occurred against the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys, while they lost to the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Lamar Jackson missed four games in the 2025 season

Lamar Jackson had a down year in 2025. The two-time MVP missed four games due to injury and threw for 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Jackson’s injury issues contributed to the Ravens missing the playoffs for the first time since 2021. Interestingly, Jackson missed several games in that campaign as well. Last season’s failure to reach the playoffs would ultimately lead to the firing of long-time coach John Harbaugh.

Jesse Minter has replaced the one-time Super Bowl-winning coach and led the team to three wins in four games. It remains to be seen whether Jackson will miss time due to the ankle injury suffered against the Titans.

Up next for the Ravens is a matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. It’ll mark their first away game since Week 1 versus the Colts.
