Destroy a Vault is a Roblox title where you use a fleet of tank robots to destroy vaults and earn Gold. The Gold you earn can be smelted into Cash, the main currency of the game. You can then invest Cash into base upgrades, robot upgrades, and robot slot purchases, all of which contribute to the improvement of your earning rate. Your objective is to earn as much money as possible to destroy vaults efficiently and maximize your Gold acquisition.
Here’s how you can get started in Destroy a Vault.
Getting started in Destroy a Vault
Overview

Destroy a Vault is a simple game with a two-step gameplay loop: tank robot acquisition and upgrades. Your tank robots handle every aspect of vault destruction; your role is to manage them effectively, so that they may do so as efficiently as possible. Once your robots destroy a vault, you earn plenty of Gold, which you can take to the Smelter to turn into Cash.
Cash is the primary resource used to purchase new tank robots and perform upgrades for your base and robots alike. New tank robots are acquired through rolls; you can perform rolls for free, causing random bots to appear on the podium. Then, you can either choose to use your Cash to buy the robot based on its stats or perform another roll to see if you can get a better option.
Once you get a robot, you can place it in the available slot in your base. You get one slot as part of the tutorial, and you can purchase additional slots using Cash. After placing the bot, you can upgrade its stats using Cash, increasing its DPS in the process.
Additionally, you can approach the various boards in your base to purchase upgrades using your funds. These upgrades target your roll luck, the number of roll podiums, tank robot damage, tank robot battery, Gold generation rate, and additional patch of slots. Purchase these upgrades as you see fit to improve your earnings and make your earning rate as efficient as possible.

Gameplay features

- Upgrade priority: The five upgrade paths, namely Robot Luck, Roll Spots, Robot Damage, Robot Battery, and Vault Gold Value, all target Gold-earning efficiency from different angles. The best stat to prioritize out of these is Robot Damage, followed by Robot Battery and Robot Luck. Additional Roll Spots become useful later in the game, and Vault Gold Value is too expensive for the early game. By prioritizing Robot Damage, you will be destroying vaults at a faster rate, improving your ability to purchase the other upgrades.
- Index Luck: Once your base is fully established, you may want to start rolling for new robots regardless of whether you need them or not. The reason behind this is the Index Luck feature, which gives you an additional Luck stat increase every time you get five new robots. The game features 76 robots in total, and unlocking all of them gives you a total of 62.5% Luck increase.
- Mutations: Once you’ve raised your roll luck sufficiently through Index Luck and upgrades, you may occasionally encounter mutated variants of standard tank robots. Mutations are special modifiers that apply a multiplier to a robot’s DPS rating. These make each robot significantly more efficient while attacking a vault, thereby increasing your earnings. Should you encounter mutated versions of robots, consider prioritizing their purchase before other options.
- Gems and Mutation Cores: Occasionally, you will earn Gems along with Cash when destroying certain vaults. Gems are the second currency of this title, used to purchase Mutation Cores at the Market. Mutation Cores can be used to manually apply a Mutation to the chosen robot. Considering the impact this can have on a tank, we recommend prioritizing the Core’s usage on your best option.
- Robot fusion: You can fuse four robots of the same type to create a better version with higher stats. This option unlocks after you purchase access to the second island, making it a mid-game mechanic. Fusion can be a good replacement for certain tanks that tend to show up too often when performing rolls. Note that you can’t fuse robots that were created through fusion.
