A WWE Hall of Famer is set to make his in-ring return this month. It will be his first wrestling match in over 11 years, and he believes Jeff Jarrett is the one who is responsible for his comeback after all these years.

The star is none other than Road Dogg. In March this year, he departed from the Stamford-based promotion’s creative team. But now he is set to make his return to the ring. On October 22, at Jeff Jarrett’s All-Star Super Slam, Dogg will team up with Jarrett and Jay Lethal against QT Marshall, Brady Booker, and Elijah Drago. This will be the WWE Hall of Famer’s first match since 25th January 2015, when he teamed up with Billy Gunn to take on The Ascension at Royal Rumble 2015.

Ahead of his wrestling return, Dogg took to X to share a message with Jeff Jarrett. He said that he had closed his wrestling career a decade ago. However, Jarrett convinced him to make a comeback for a team-up showdown this month. This post captured the emotional weight on Road Dogg before he steps foot in the ring, once again as a performer.

“I thought this chapter had closed as well. Double J is persuasive,” wrote Gunn.

Road Dogg reacts to WWE star Alexa Bliss’ music release

This week, former WWE Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss released her first singles music, “I’m Just Drunk (Lexi’s Texts).” This song caught the attention of the entire world of professional wrestling, and many major stars sent their reactions to it. Legend Road Dogg also had something to say about it ahead of his in-ring return.

Taking to X, Dogg praised Bliss’ song by calling it “awesome.” He even said that he could help the SmackDown star tackle her drinking habit as well. It was a reference to the name of the female star’s song.

“I can help you stop drinking but this is AWESOME,” wrote Dogg.

It was a funny banter between the two stars online. With that said, it will be interesting to see how things will unfold for Road Dogg from here on out, ahead of his anticipated return to the ring after 11 years.
