Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes’ girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, dropped a four-word reaction to the Baywatch reboot trailer on social media. The series is set to release in January 2027.

Dunne also re-shared the trailer on her Instagram Story, reacting with “EEEK! ❤️🔥🛟.” She also took a moment to share the update on her TikTok account, boasting 7.9M followers, commenting, “Can January come sooner?!?😍 Official trailer EEEK!”
Dunne has been quite passionate about acting after retiring from gymnastics in April 2025. She said that she’s always been into acting, but being a student-athlete drew all her focus to gymnastics.
“One thing people would be surprised about is that I take acting lessons — and I really love it. It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time. I was interested in doing that at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you’re a student-athlete at school; school and sports, but really gymnastics was my main focus,” Olivia Dunne said.
“And now that I’m done with school, I have more time to lean into the acting stuff and the creative side of things.”
She added that she finds exploring her creative side quite rewarding, especially when she gets to see her efforts come to life on screen. Paul Skenes also reacted to her acting in the Baywatch reboot, noting that “it’s going to be cool.”
He admitted that while he hasn’t seen the sneak peeks of the series yet, he’s excited for Dunne. “She’s loving it, so that’s all that matters,” Skenes said. Dunne made it clear that her gymnastics career is over when she retired, and she’s more interested in finding new “creative outlets” than returning to the sport.

A couple of days ago, former LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne shared a playful clip on TikTok, featuring the Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes. The video shows Dunne and Skenes sharing a meal on a date night, when her “nonchalant” boyfriend decides to take on a serious conversation.
“Me anytime my nonchalant quiet bf decides to have lore,” Dunne wrote on the TikTok clip.
“So outta left field but I’m here for it,” she further captioned the post. The video shows Skenes questioning life and its purpose, as Dunne, who was taking a sip from her drink, almost chokes on his question.
