After traveling to Alaska and holding a rally on Tuesday night, someone thought it was a good idea to send the 80-year-old president to the nation’s epicenter of election denialism and let him swear and rant and rave conspiracy theories.
Republicans in Arizona were already very worried because they have election deniers at the top of the ballot in the state, but if they thought they had any chance of winning, that likely vanished when Donald Trump took the stage and began talking about election conspiracies.
Trump also claimed that Gov. Katie Hobbs is paid off by the drug cartels:
Our governor, Katie Hobbs, does the bidding of the cartels. People say she’s paid off by the cartels. I wouldn’t be surprised. They got plenty of cash. Because what she does, it doesn’t make sense. Something has to be between her and the cartels because she’s causing tremendous death in your state.
Gov. Katie Hobbs is not paid off by drug cartels. Trump is at the point in the campaign where he is desperately making up crazy stuff.
Speaking of crazy, Trump’s went off on a long bender about election conspiracies.
The problem with Trump’s election conspiracies is that they discourage people from voting. The bigger problem for Trump and his party is that his conspiracies discourage Republicans from voting.
