Tyreek Hill wants to return to the Kansas City Chiefs, but some recent developments could prevent it from happening – at least in the short term.
On Tuesday, the former Super Bowl-winning wide receiver was found to be responsible for two counts of battery against his ex-wife Keeta Vaccaro by a jury in Miami. Consequently, he must pay her $500,000 in compensatory damages. He was cleared of the remaining charges against him, including five counts of battery, and was not required to pay punitive damages.
Thanks for the submission!
Later that night, a spokesperson for the NFL said that the league was “monitoring developments in the matter which remains under review of the personal conduct policy.” And for NBC’s Mike Florio, that could delay Hill’s return to the field.

“Beyond the PR issues that would go with signing this guy on the heels of this finding… will his ex-wife cooperate with the investigation? Will the NFL place him on paid leave pending the outcome? How many games could he eventually be suspended for?
“These are all factors that need to be considered and taken very seriously by any team that is interested in a player who is still not 100% after suffering a severe knee injury. So even though there’s this vague sense that he could be back imminently, it may take a little longer than that.”
Kenneth Walker III open to Tyreek Hill-Chiefs reunion
Should Tyreek Hill somehow make his way back to the Chiefs, at least one player will embrace it.
Running back Kenneth Walker III, who joined the team in free agency just over a month after being named the MVP of Super Bowl LX, said in an exclusive interview with the betting website Research Ground/RG.org:
“I never really talked to Tyreek, but obviously I know what type of player he is, the explosiveness that he has. He’s a game changer, so I think that will be cool. … You can give him the ball wherever, and he can make a play. You can drop a checkdown to him, and he’ll be able to go for 100. He’s just all around a great athlete.”
Hill has not played since Week 4 of the 2025 season, when he blew out his knee against the New York Jets. He was released by the Miami Dolphins in February this year.
