The Double-A Akron RubberDucks have already launched one food-based alternate identification this month, and now they’ve added one other. Simply weeks after unveiling the Barberton Fried Chicken and Hot Rice, the RubberDucks give us the Akron White French.

The nickname is a tribute to a creamy, garlicky model of French salad dressing that Akron claims as its personal. Per the workforce, the precise origin of the dressing is unknown—it may very well be family-owned Papa Joe’s restaurant or the previous Stouffer’s restaurant on the Summit Mall—however Akronites agree you don’t usually discover this dressing outdoors of northeast Ohio.
