After officially introducing a new edition of his faction, Jay White has just revealed the group’s new name. Unfortunately, he went against expectations and veered away from the name that fans wanted.
Last Wednesday on Dynamite, the Switchblade pulled off an interesting heel turn. He turned on Orange Cassidy and the Conglomeration, who he teamed up with that night. The rest of the Bang Bang Gang also came out to attack them.
The biggest reveal of the night, however, was that Jay White was now working together with The Dogs. David Finlay and Clark Connors made sure to not leave any loose ends as they ousted Gabe Kidd from the group. This now seven-piece faction looks to be a force to be reckoned with.
Jay White addressed everything tonight on AEW Collision. After speaking about their new partnership, he acknowledged one question on everyone’s mind: their new name. He felt they needed to make a long-overdue change. White hinted at bringing back the Bullet Club name, but did not want to give fans that satisfaction. He then revealed that they would be known as “The Last Outfit”.
“Finally, officially on American soil, Bullet fo-fo-fo-forget about it! You guys are too dumb to hear me; I said forget about it. Because to get to the top of All Elite Wrestling, you need more than a club; you need more than a family; you need an outfit. Now we are The Last Outfit.”
Jay White has also avoided saying any of their catchphrases, as they were now heels. He has gone back to his roots, as he played this role during his time with NJPW and his early days with AEW. But more importantly, he has his eyes on Jon Moxley and his Continental Championship.
It remains to be seen whether the Death Riders can handle the firepower of The Last Outfit, as they are a group that could dominate the competition.
