A deranged transgender biological male school bus driver in Ontario who was removed from his route after parents filmed him wearing a pink schoolgirl uniform and displaying a “Lolita Line” sign on his bus has filed a human rights complaint alleging discrimination.
The driver, identified in tribunal documents only by the initials L.Z., worked for Landmark Bus Lines transporting students to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Elementary School in Woodbridge.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, in 2025, parents confronted him outside the school while he stood in the bus doorway dressed in a short pink skirt, white frilly blouse with a large bow, thigh-high stockings, and a headband, with a paper sign in the windshield reading “Lolita Line.”
“You picked up the kids dressed like that?” a parent can be heard asking in a video of the confrontation.
The driver replied, “I do this every day, and I don’t think… there is an issue.”
“So you pulled out, you picked up the kids dressed like that?” a parent asks again.
The driver responds, “Yep.”
“Why is it called the Lolita Line?” a parent demanded.
The driver did not respond.

The “Lolita Line” reference drew particular concern because the term is widely associated with Vladimir Nabokov’s novel about an adult man’s sexual obsession with a 12-year-old girl. It is often used in the sexualization of children.
The York Catholic District School Board notified Landmark Bus Lines about the behavior, which removed the driver from the route and assured the board he would not be assigned to any of its schools going forward.
Board communications described the matter as resolved.
L.Z. has now filed a complaint with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario against both Landmark Bus Lines and the York Catholic District School Board, claiming discrimination on the basis of ethnic origin, gender identity, and sex.
He sought and received a publication ban protecting his identity, which the tribunal granted on October 13, citing his identifying as a “transgender woman” and concerns about backlash from negative media attention.
“The applicant argues that the only thing that has kept her safe is that her name and personal details have not been revealed,” the order states. “The applicant states that the events in the Application have been publicized in a manner that described her as a danger to the public because of her gender identity and negative stereotypes that have been associated with her identity.
“In addition, the applicant submits that she would be at risk of physical harm, intimidation, and harassment based on the commentary on social media and news outlets, if her identity and personal information are made public.”
Jamie Sarkonak of the National Post reported that the case only became public because of the publication ban request.
The report states:
The human rights complaint would have proceeded in secret were it not for L.Z.’s insistence on securing a publication ban, which was granted on Oct. 13. The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario does not post upcoming hearings online, unlike its more transparent cousins in B.C., Alberta and Manitoba, so there would have been no realistic way for the public to know that it was on the docket.

The tribunal did, however, publish its decision to grant a publication ban protecting L.Z.’s identity on Oct. 23. According to the decision, L.Z. wanted a publication ban because “she is a transgender woman” and because the events at the heart of the complaint “have garnered negative media attention.”
“The applicant has faced threats to her safety and discriminatory labels due to transphobic stereotypes,” adds the decision.
It’s unclear whether this individual is mentally ill, simply engaging in a stunt to take advantage of an overzealous, unaccountable human rights system, or something else altogether. No rational adult would show up to a job with proximity to kids in a skimpy costume and a reference to a novel about the sexual abuse of a child by a middle-aged man … and then revive the controversy by engaging in lawfare.
No hearing date has been set at the time of publication.
