Daring rescue in the midst of a historic storm dumping tons of rain on Los Angeles … firefighters used a helicopter to avoid wasting a person who jumped in a raging river to seize his canine.
The emergency state of affairs performed out Monday afternoon in the midst of the flooding L.A. River … with LAFD crews bringing in a chopper to tug out a person who was stranded within the flowing water.
The man was attempting to bit considerably of a hero himself … he was trying to avoid wasting his canine, who had been swept away within the rapids throughout a flash flood.
As you possibly can see, a helicopter hovered over the river and lowered a firefighter who grabbed the man and pulled him to security.
The poor pooch was saved too … with the canine swimming to dry land by itself.
LAFD says each man and canine suffered minor accidents … the man was transported to a neighborhood hospital and the pup was taken to an animal shelter.
Firefighters are joyful to report the canine is “alive and eager to reunite with his human.”
As we reported … the massive storm, a Pineapple Categorical, is wreaking havoc in Southern California … inflicting flash flooding, catastrophic landslides, and damage from debris and downed bushes.
